This one is said to be for the US Army Golden Knights free-fall display team. Presumably it wears the very basic livery which will be enhanced later. Photo Date: On 5 May 1985 Credit: Tim Martin Date Uploaded: 16 May 2015 Airframe: Beech E18S, s/n 51132 USN, c/n 6323, c/r N38L {2} Notes: 1985 photo at Winnipeg - Originally built as part of a batch of SNB-5 Navigators for the US Navy, this Beech 18 has been modified to Hamilton Westwind III standard with turbine engines and lengthened nose. In addition the roof has been heightened to Super 18 standard. In 1989 it was badly damaged landing on gravel esker in the far north.
