    Constructed as a DH-84.
    Constructed by DH craftsmen in the Grace Brothers building, Broadway, Sydney to the British De Havilland company blueprints. Airframe moved to Mascot for assembly.

    12 October 1942

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Australian Air Force with s/n A34-13.

    24 May 1946

    To Department of Health, Canberra.
    Purchased for 50 UK Pounds.

    19 August 1946

    To Commonwealth Department of Health, Canberra Operated by NT Medical Service, Darwin NT with new c/r VH-ASK.

    19 February 1958

    To J. G. (and) G. Schultz, Glentor Downs Prairie QLD, with new c/r VH-SNB.

    1961

    To J. G. (and) G. Schultz Lawrence Engineering (and) Sales Pty Ltd, Hangar 55, Camden Aerodrome NSW/ keeping c/r VH-SNB.

    To Rev. Les G. Nixon, Sydney NSW keeping c/r VH-SNB.

    Notes: DH.84 Dragon VH-SNB at Orange NSW for an airshow in February 1966. It was owned by Reverend Les Nixon who flew an evangelistic religious group all over Australia giving musical performances at country towns and aboriginal missions, while spreading their word. This DH.84 was formerly RAAF A34-13, the very first of 87 Dragons built at Sydney, first flown on 29 September 1942. Today it resides at the Royal Scottish Museum of Flight at the wartime East Fortune airfield, Scotland.

    Les Nixon flew the Dragon on evangelical tours of the outback, as the first aircraft of Australias Outback Patrol - a Christian community service to the outback community.

    To Sir William J. D. Roberts/Strathallan Aircraft Collection, Auchterader, Scotland.

    14 July 1981

    Sold as Lot 89 at the Christies of London auction of Strathallan museum aircraft to Royal Scottish Museum. Purchase price 7000 UK Pounds, - aircraft required a complete rebuild.
