    December 1957

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 54-1623.

    December 1957

    To 463rd TCW, Ardmore Air Force Base, OK.

    July 1958

    Transferred to Air Force Operational Test Center, Eglin AFB, FL.

    July 1958

    Converted to an AC-130A.
    Nose was converted to AC-130A for testing.

    By January 1960

    Converted to a C-130A.
    Converted back to C-130A standard.

    January 1960

    Transferred to 314th TCW, Sewart Air Force Base, TN.

    By April 1960

    Converted to a JC-130A.

    April 1960

    Transferred to Air Force Missile Test Center, Edwards AFB, CA.

    December 1961

    Transferred to 6560th Operations Group.

    March 1962

    Transferred to 6550th Support Wing, Patrick AFB, FL.

    September 1964

    Converted to a C-130A.
    Converted back to C-130A standard.

    By March 1968

    Converted to an AC-130A.

    August 1968

    Transferred to 4413th CCTS, Lockbourne AFB, OH.

    April 1969

    Transferred to 16th SOS, 8th TFW, Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand.
    Operated with markings: FT

    26 September 1969

    Damaged.
    Damaged in combat over Laos on September 26, 1969. Landed at NKP instead of Ubon, Thailand because of the seriousness of the damage. #1 prop was blown off and the left leading edge was also blown off. Aircraft forms were not returned to Ubon.

    Transferred to 388th TFW, Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand.
    Operated with markings: Ghostrider

    November 1975

    Transferred to 711th SOS, 919th SOW, AFRES, Duke Field, FL.
    Operated with markings: Ghostrider, AFRES

    From 20 December 1989 to 31 January 1990

    Flew combat missions during Operation Just Cause in Panama.

    From 2 August 1990 to 28 February 1991

    Flew combat missions during Operation Desert Storm.

    From 19 September 1994 to 31 March 1995

    Flew combat missions during Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti.

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
