    Transferred to 120th TFS, 140th TFG, Colorado ANG, Buckley AFB, CO.

    From 1977 to 1991

    Transferred to 175th TFS, 114th TFG, South Dakota ANG, Joe Foss Field ANGB, SD.

    1989

    Markings Applied: Spirit of South Dakota, Celebrate the Century, 1889 - 1989
    For the Centennial celebration for the state of South Dakota in 1989, this A-7D was given a unique red, white and blue scheme. It flew like this throughout 1989 and was returned to the grey camouflage pattern in 1990.
