    To Seair Alaska Airlines, Anchorage, AK keeping c/r N540N.

    12 March 1985

    Crashed.
    Summary: The damage to the airframe was substantial. There were 13,652 hours on the airframe at the time. The domestic non scheduled passenger flight departed Prudhoe Bay Airport, AK (PUO), United States of America and was destined for Barter Island Airport, AK (BTI/PABA), United States of America. The accident occurred at Barter Island, AK (United States of America) while on approach. The airframe was damaged beyond repair. Narrative: The aircraft had to carry out a missed approach to a temporary winter landing strip and crashed in a steep nose down attitude, about 900 m past the runway end due to ice accretion (3/16 inch) on the wings...
