    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number NYC72FNE24: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 14:15 hours. The damage was substantial. Incident occurred at the Tweed-new Haven Airport, East Haven, CT. Suffered a hard landing on touch down. The gear collapsed on touch down. The factors included; unfavorable wind conditions and overload failure. The sky conditions were unknown/not reported. The visibility was 5 or over (unlimited)...
