    14 December 1983

    While wearing a flag painted on its bottom surface, this aircraft revealed the types existence to high-ranking officials at Groom Lake on 14 December 1983, the first semi-public unveiling of the aircraft.

    By 1989

    Transferred to 4450th Tactical Group, Tonopah Airport, NV.

    By October 1998

    Transferred to 412th Test Wing, Edwards AFB, CA.
    Operated with markings: ED

    14 November 2005

    Withdrawn from use.
    To Holloman AFB, NM Nov 14, 2005 for use as ground instructional airframe.

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
