    From F-105 Thunderchiefs: A 29-Year Illustrated Operational History by W. Howard Plunkett: Aircraft placed on display at Keesler AFB, MS. The Keesler runway was too short for an F-105 to land, so the aircraft flew to Gulfport, MS. It was then picked up by a CH-54 Skycrane from the U.S. Army National Guard Transportation Aircraft Repair Shop at Gulfport and then lifted to the runway at Keesler.
