    Civil registration, N614XL, cancelled.

    22 July 2003

    Destroyed in a crash.
    Written off on take-off from Wilkes-Barre Airport, Pennsylvania. The aircraft failed to gain height and crashed into some trees and exploded, killing the pilot. It was found that there was water contamination in the fuel. The owner had de-registered the airplane with the FAA, with the intent of moving it to Canada; however, he had not applied for Canadian registration.
