    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC).

    Converted to a T-28S-1.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Armee de l Air with s/n 51-3528.
    Call sign F-ZJUF.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Moroccan Air Force with s/n 51-3528.
    Callsign - CNA-EK.

    Was allocated s/n HR-231A with the Fuerza Aerea Hondurena but was not taken up.

The aircraft is pictured undergoing a series of pre-delivery checks at Meknes in Morocco.

    Notes: Two ex-Moroccan Air Force T-28 Fennecs, 51-3565/HR-232A (nearest) and 51-3528/HR-231A, pictured at Santa Maria airport on the Azores, 26 November 1978. The two were making the first of their planned fuel stops during a flight from Morocco to Canada. The next stop was Horta, also in the Azores, where an overnight stop was made.

    Notes: Two ex-Moroccan Air Force T-28 Fennecs, 51-3565/HR-232A (nearest) and 51-3528/HR-231A - sit on the ramp at Rabat-Sale in the early morning light of 26 November 1978. Shortly after, the two would be flown from Morocco to the Azores on the first leg of their journey to join the Honduran Air Force. Note that the aircraft have been fitted with different drop-tanks for the flight. 51-3565 has tanks originally fitted to a Vampire T.11 while 3528 has those of a Meteor NF.14.

    Notes: Phil Dawe, pictured with ex-Royal Moroccan Air Force T-28, 51-3528/HR-231A, at Horta on the Azores, 27 November 1978.The aircraft was one of a pair (the other being 51-3565/HR-232A) which had night-stopped at the island while flying from Morocco to St Johns in Newfoundland whilst being delivered for the Honduran Air Force. The aircraft has been fitted with drop tanks from a Gloster Meteor NF.14 and painted with a sharks mouth

    Notes: T-28 Fennec 51-3528/HR-231A pictured shortly after arriving at St Johns from Horta in the Azores, 28 November 1978. The aircraft was one of a pair of ex-Royal Moroccan Air Force Fennecs on their way to Honduras. The aircraft bears the name Broken Promise IV which was applied at Horta.

    Notes: During a transit flight from Halifax NS to Newark NJ, two T-28 Fennecs, 51-3528 and 51-3565, met a US Army Huey for a bit of formation flying. The former is pictured from the cab of the Huey as they make their way northwards along Sandy Hook, close to Surf City.

    Crashed.
    There were two minor injuries. The accident occurred at Madison, WI, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. After the aircraft was initally taxied for takeoff, the pilot returned to the ramp and stated that he was experiencing engine problems. He inquired at an fbo about chartering an aircraft to take himself and his son to an experimental aircraft association convention at oshkosh, wi. Mechanics looked at the aircraft, but no specific problem was identified...
