    Constructed as a SBD-5 by Douglas.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 36176.

    Transferred to USS Sable.
    Operated with markings: B-25

    12 March 1944

    Crashed.
    While on training operations from the USS Sable, stalled on take off, ditched into Lake Michigan and sank. The pilot survived.

    Circa 1995

    Recovered.
    Recovered from Lake Michigan by A and T Recovery Inc.

    Restoration completed.
    Markings Applied: B-25
    The remainder of the static restoration was completed at Palm Springs. During restoration work a carburetor air scoop from SBD-3 was fitted onto the cowling.
