    Constructed as a P-51D-25-NA by North American at Inglewood, California, USA.

    Circa 1944

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-73864.

    6 December 1950

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Air Force with s/n 9249 as a Mustang IV.

    Transferred to RCAF Disposals, Fort Macleod, AB.

    From 30 December 1958 to 1960

    To Intercontinental Airways/James H. Defuria, Canastota, NY with new c/r N6316T.

    From 10 May 1960 to 1962

    To Aero Enterprises, Elkhart, IN keeping c/r N6316T.

    1 November 1960

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Royal Canadian Air Force.

    From October 1962 to 1964

    To Mirror Glaze Distributors/John Spatch, Edmonds, WA with new c/r N1451D {1}.

    15 June 1964

    Crashed.
    Destroyed when it crashed into the ground at transsonic speed near Spatch. The pilot, his wife and three children perished.

    The ID was transferred to a restoration project.
