    Transferred to 49th TFW, Spangdahlem AB, West Germany.

    4 February 1967

    Transferred to 23rd TFW, McConnell AFB, KS.

    From 2 December 1967 to 22 December 1967

    Deployed to George AFB, CA, for air-to-air gunnery training with RTU Class 68ER.

    From 23 January 1968 to 7 February 1968

    Deployed to George AFB, CA, for air-to-air gunnery training with RTU Class 68FR.

    From 14 May 1968 to 29 May 1968

    Deployed to George AFB, CA, for air-to-air gunnery training with RTU Class 68JR.

    By March 1972

    Transferred to 562nd TFS, 23rd TFW, McConnell AFB, KS.

    1 July 1972

    Transferred to 561st TFS, McConnell AFB, KS.
    Assigned to 561st after resident 23rd TFW transferred to England AFB, LA, to fly A-7D Corsair IIs.

    21 August 1972

    Transferred to 465th TFS, 507th TFG, AFRES, Tinker AFB, OK.
    Operated with markings: SH

    From 10 June 1978 to 23 June 1978

    Deployed to RAF Sculthorpe, England, under Coronet Oriole.

    From 12 May 1979 to 24 May 1979

    Deployed to Gioia Del Colle, Italy, under Coronet Palomino.

    June 1979

    During the month of June, the aircraft flew a total of 43.6 hours. That was the highest time for the month of any of the 465th TFS F-105s.

    Transferred to 466th TFS, 508th TFG, AFRES, Hill AFB, UT.
    Operated with markings: HI, Kombat Kathy
    Noseart was woman in bikini riding bomb. Letters in yellow above and below figure.

    From 15 August 1981 to 29 August 1981

    Deployed to Skrydstrup, Denmark, under Coronet Rudder.

    4 June 1983

    Last flight.
    One of 24 F-105s flown on ceremonial final mission at Hill AFB, UT. After the mission, the aircraft was one of 7 F-105s flown to Lackland AFB, TX.

    5 June 1983

    Redesignated as GF-105D.

    5 June 1983

    To Security Police Training Area (south), Kelly Field (formerly Kelly AFB), San Antonio, TX.
    As instructional airframe.

    Placed on display with Palm Springs Air Museum, Palm Springs International Airport, Palm Springs, CA.
    Contributor Lance comments (10 December 2017): This Thud,(s/n 61-0108) has been restored and is now located at The Palm Springs Air Museum in California. One of her pilots managed to complete the coveted 100 combat missions during his tour at Takhli RTAB in Thailand during the period from Dec 1966 through July 1967. He was a 1st Lt. at the time. Gordon Jenkins later retired as a full Colonel. He and his wife Mary Pat coincidently live in Palm Springs.
