    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the McCollum Airport (8A4) Marietta, GA, United States while landing. The damage was minor. The Cessna 172 pilot performed his preflight engine run-up on the taxiway, then waited for a twin engine aircraft to land. He reported that after the twin engine landed, he radioed his intention, double checked the final approach area and with no other aircraft in sight, he taxied onto the runway...

    The accident occurred at the McCollum Airport (8A4) Kennesaw, GA, United States while maneuvering. The damage was substantial. While over a wooded area at 800 feet above ground level the engine failed. The pilot was unable to reach a suitable landing site before contacting the ground on an embankment below the elevation of a nearby road. The aircraft struck a telephone cable prior to touchdown...
