    Constructed as a Midget Racer.
    Designed and built by Rod Nimmo of Albuquerque, NM. Was powered by an 85hp Continental C85. Wing span: 19 feet 6 inches. Length 16 feet 0 inches.

    From 28 August 1947 to 29 August 1947

    Raced as #39, named PFTTTT.
    Competed at the National Air Races Cleveland in the Goodyear Trophy race. The primary pilot was Mike Argander. Qualified in 10th place with an average speed of 128.147 mph.

    Notes: Photographed at the National Air Races at Cleveland, OH. Comment on the back of the photo: The name of Rodney Nimmos Number 39 was on everybodys tonge at the races. Easier to psell than to pronounce, it was *Pfttt*. The ship was flown by Mike Argandar, Los Angeles, Calif.

    Later some parts went into the Sorenson Special Deerfly and the Smirnoff Special.
