    23 July 1993

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Arlington Municipal Airport (S88) Arlington, WA, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. After touchdown in a gusty crosswind, the pilot began hard braking in order to turn off the runway at the first taxiway. The hard braking and the side loads exerted on the gear structure in order to maintain directional control during the rapid deceleration, resulted in collapse of the main gear strut.

    11 June 1997

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Cottage Grove State Airport (61S) Cottage Grove, OR, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. While landing on a wet runway in his tailwheel equipped biplane, the pilot allowed the aircraft to initiate a ground loop/swerve and his remedial action was not sufficient to execute a recovery. During the ground loop, the aircraft spun 180 degrees to the right, collapsing the main landing gear.

    17 June 1998

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Harrisburg, OR, United States while on decent. The damage was substantial. The pilot stated that he throttled back to descend. At about 1500 feet, he opened the throttle and got no response; the engine remained at idle. At 1000 feet, he was committed to land and chose a 40 acre field rather than attempt a landing on the highway. He was down and rolling when the airplane nosed over in soft terrain and tall rye grass...
