    Constructed as an A-26B-45-DL by Douglas at Long Beach, Califoria, USA.

    Circa 1944

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-34198.

    1964

    Converted to a B-26K by On Mark Engineering at Van Nuys, CA, USA with s/n 64-17679 USAF.

    Redesignated as A-26A.

    From October 1969 to By 1971

    Transferred to Davis Monthan AFB, AZ.
    Placed in storage at Davis Monthan.

    From 1971 to By 1977

    To State of Georgia Forestry Commission, MacOn, GA with new c/r N269G.

    The original intent was to convert the airframe to a tanker, but stored unconverted at Macon, GA.

    From By 1972 to By 1977

    Kept in open storage at Macon, GA.

    1977

    To Air Spray (1967) Ltd, Edmonton, AB with new c/r C-GXTG.

    Damaged.
    Not actually delivered to Airspray since it was damaged on a heavy landing during test flights at Macon, GA.

    Abandoned at Macon, GA.

    By 1978

    To Arnie Carnegie, Edmonton, AB.
    Mr. Carnegie purchased the damaged airframe.

    To Lynch Flying Service/Denny Lynch, Billings, MT with new c/r N4988N.

    Rebuilt at Macon, GA.

    Ferry flight.
    Delivered to Billings MT.

    Markings Applied: IF 679
    Painted in a USAF camouflage colour scheme.

    Withdrawn from use.

    Notes: On Mark B-26K Counter-Invader N4988N at Billings MT in October 1981 waiting restoration by Denny Lynch to be his own ultimate warbird. He had ferried it to Billings from Macon GA where it was badly damaged and a sale to Canada abandoned
