    Crashed.
    There was one serious injury. The accident occurred at Elmore, IL, United States while cruising. The damage was substantial. While on a cross country flight, the engine lost power the prop continued to windmill. Subsequently, the aircraft crashed during an emergency landing. During the crash landing, the pilots shoulder harness failed at the upper attachment point he received head back injuries. An exam of the engine revealed that the second aft exhaust valves were sticking.
