    1963

    Constructed as a Beaver I.

From Unknown to Circa 28 October 1971

To Super Spread Aviation/Kevin Illig, Bainsdale, Victoria with new c/r VH-IDI.
Kevin Illig comments (25 November 2014): VH-IDI was my aircraft for a few years with Super Spread Aviation out of Moorabbin based in Bainsdale, Victoria. Many pleasant hours on super, crop spraying and rice sowing. Unfortunately my log book #1 has been lost. However the first entry in log book #2 is may 9th 1971 IDI bn-mbn-bn. The final entry is 28th oct 1971. In that time I flew IDI for 323 hours on super and then rice out of Deniliquin. Because of the lost log book this is only part of our very pleasant journey together. 28th october was my last rice sowing job followed by a ferry den- mbn-bns. My best friend Neville Fyfe was killed in IDJ in the Niemer river completing my last job and I never flew another cropduster. Hoping this adds to your historical efforts. Kevin.
