    Circa 1942

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 42-104730.

    August 1943

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Australian Air Force with s/n A29-448.

    May 1944

    Crashed.
    Crash-landed at Tadji and abandoned.

    1974

    To Charles Darby.
    Recovered from Papua New Guinea and stored in New Zealand.

    Restoration started.
    By Pacific Aviation.

    2000

    Repair completed.
    By Pioneer Restorations.

    8 March 2000

    To The Kittyhawk Partnership, Auckland-Charles Darby and Garth Hogan with new c/r ZK-CAG (P-40N, 28492).

    Markings Applied: Painted up as A29-448 on its port side and A29-1050 on the starboard side.
