    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-77424.

    18 September 1947

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 44-77424.

    1949

    Assigned to Air Force Reserve and used for crew proficiency in California and Washington.

    1950

    Operated in Japan and Korea for entire Korean War.

    By February 1953

    Transferred to 6167th Maintenance Squadron, 6167th Maintenance and Support Group, K-16, Seoul, Korea.

    1955

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Japanese Air Self Defense Force with s/n 51-1121.
    Leased to the Japanese Air Self Defense Force.

    21 August 1964

    Crashed.
    Summary: The airframe was written off. This was a military flight. The accident occurred at Okayama Airport (OKJ) (Japan) while landing. Narrative: Belly landing; damaged beyond repair.
