    Damaged.
    Landed gear up in Frankfort Germany during an instructional flight.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army with s/n 66-15365 as a U-8F Seminole.

    Circa 1985

    Converted to a VU-8F Seminole.
    Excalibur Aviation Company modified this aircraft to Queen Air 800 standards with uprated engines, new engine mounts, three-bladed props, and other detail changes.

    By July 1986

    Transferred to Connecticut Army National Guard, Windsor Locks, CT.

    Damaged.
    Damaged at Pierre, SD. The aircraft took off from Isabel, SD, on a sod runway. During takeoff the pilot noticed that it was extremely rough and noisy; cycled gear twice when airborne, first time okay, second time it hung up. He could not electrically orAa manually extend the gear. He then made an emergency landing at Pierre, SD.
