    From Circa September 1990 to March 1991

    Deployed to Saudi Arabia for Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

    Damaged.
    Pilot Col. David A. Sawyer was leading a two-ship with Capt. K. Buchberger to attack the south edge of the Medina Division. They first dropped CBU-58s on soft targets. Col. Sawyer then identified armor in revetments and attacked with an EO Maverick. When pulling off target, he saw three people running towards more vehicles. Col. Sawyer then strafed the targets and as he was pulling off he felt the impact of a missile. The tail control surfaces of the aircraft sustained major damage after being hit by the SA-13. Col. Sawyer flew directly to King Fahd where he safely landed his aircraft.His aircraft, 80-0186, had [384] holes in the airframe from the missile hit. It was eventually repaired with fin from Col. Effersons [76-0540] plane and returned to flying status [within 7 days] (Arc Forums).

    Transferred to 355th Fighter Wing, 354th Fighter Squadron, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ.

    January 1993

    Base of operations changed.
    McChord AFB, FL.

    During their time at McChord, the 354th was one of the USAFs most deployed Squadrons flew more than 15,000 sorties during 11 deployments to operations and exercises in Argentina, Chile, Italy, Japan, Turkey, and the Persian Gulf.

    Transferred to 57th Wing, Nellis AFB, NV.

    Transferred to 74th Fighter Squadron, 23rd Fighter Group, Pope AFB, NC.

    By September 2009

    Transferred to 358th Fighter Squadron, 355th Fighter Wing, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ.

    March 2013

    Transferred to Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Tucson, AZ.
    Persistent Close Air Support Program, Joint Terminal Attack Controller by Raytheon.

    Place on display with Raytheon at Tucson, AZ Airport.

    Placed on display with Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum, McMinnville, OR.
