    The accident occurred at the Minchumina Airport (MHM) Lake Minchumina, AK, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The crew of the arriving cargo flight flew over the airport to inspect the runway conditions and subsequently elected to use runway 20, a 4200 feet long, 90 feet wide, gravel runway. The crew noted that the runway surface had a number of frost-heaves that had developed during the past winter...

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Ganes Creek Airport McGrath, AK, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. The airline transport pilot departed a gravel runway on a positioning flight. During initial climb after takeoff, the airplane would not pressurize. Upon inspection at the destination airport, it was found that the tail had dragged on the gravel runway during takeoff from the departure airport, puncturing the skin and pressure vessel.
