    Constructed as a Victor B.2 by Handley Page at Radlett, Herts..

    6 April 1960

    First flight.
    First flight, 55 minutes, taking off at 15.00.

    From 1960 to 1964

    The aircraft had completed 147 test flights for Handley Page.

    25 June 1960

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n XH672.

    13 August 1965

    Transferred to No. 543 Squadron, RAF Wyton.

    3 February 1978

    Converted to a Victor K.2.
    This was the last Victor K2 conversion at Woodford.

    23 May 1978

    Transferred to RAF Marham, Norfolk.

    From April 1982 to May 1982

    Participated in Operation Corporate, the Falklands Conflict.

    August 1986

    Transferred to 55 Squadron, RAF Marham.

    6 August 1986

    January 1991

    Involved in Desert Storm operations against Iraq. Operated from Muharraq.

    30 November 1993

    Last flight.
    To RAF Shawbury, Shropshire, England.

    New serial number assigned: 9242M RAF
    Maintenance Serial.

    26 March 1994

    Placed on display with Royal Air Force Museum, Cosford, Cosford, Shropshire, England.
    Dismantled at RAF Shawbury and moved to the museum. Initially placed on display outside.
