    Assigned to NAF Litchfield Park, AZ for storage.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Coast Guard with s/n 66300 and operated with these markings: 6300.

    Converted to a PB4Y-2G.

    Circa 1951

    Redesignated as P4Y-2G.

    August 1958

    Transferred to CGAS Elizabeth City, NC.
    For disposal.

    1959

    To Ace Smelting Inc, Phoenix AZ with new c/r N2872G.

    To Riversider Carson Shade keeping c/r N2872G.
    Glenn Miller comments (30 March 2024): She was bought as Surplus by Riversider Carson Shade, from sale in Az, he Flew it into FlaBob, OMG Largest Plane to ever Land there, used-up all Runway and into a pasture through Fencing, over the following year he and 2 others converted it to a Tanker, The Shade Family were family Pals and at this time I was a senior at Poly High spending many Weekends at FlaBob, Cheers GM.
