    USAAF, USAF & USN Serial Numbers
    Joe Baugher has compiled a comprehensive set of lists of serial numbers of former and current USAF and USN aircraft. If you have a question about a particular airframe, Joe's lists are the first place to go. This is a link to a search engine for the lists, and not the lists themselves.
    USAAF & USAF Aircraft Record Cards
    The Air Force Historical Studies Office at Maxwell AFB keeps individual aircraft record cards on file. Copies can be obtained through this office.
    USN Aircraft Record Cards
    The naval historical office keeps individual record cards on file. Copies can be obtained through this office.
    RCAF and CAF Serial Numbers
    Brian Walker has assembled a set of lists of serial numbers of former RCAF and CAF aircraft. It is an on-line equivalent to J.A. Griffin's "Canadian Military Aircraft Photos and Serials" book.
    RCAF and CAF Record Cards
    The Canada Aviation Museum keeps individual record cards on file. Copies can be obtained through the museum library.
    RAF Serial Numbers
    The Wolverhampton Aviation Group has compiled a set of lists of serial numbers of former and current RAF aircraft.

    ADF Serials have assembled lists of RAAF aircraft serial numbers from over three generations of RAAF aircraft.
