    Photos of roadside warbirds and museum collections are most welcome.
    Photos of aircraft as they are currently displayed are great, but photos of airframes in previous markings, with past owners or during a restoration are fantastic as well. You can help document the history of airframes with photos!

    Airframe: Beech E18S, s/n 51132 USN, c/n 6323, c/r N38L {2}
    Notes: 1985 photo at Winnipeg - Originally built as part of a batch of SNB-5 Navigators for the US Navy, this Beech 18 has been modified to Hamilton Westwind III standard with turbine engines and lengthened nose. In addition the roof has been heightened to Super 18 standard. In 1989 it was badly damaged landing on gravel esker in the far north. Luckily someone from the US came to the rescue and I saw it patched up in CYWG as N38L on ferry south

    Airframe: Convair CV-580, s/n 57-2548 USAF, c/n 440-477, c/r N6226M
    Notes: 1985 photo at Winnipeg -Originally built for the USAF in 1957 as a C-131, it was converted to turbo 580 for the FAA. I can count about 25 antennas on the fuselage so it must have been used as test or calibration machine. It was pulled from service in 1994
