    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Fuerza Aerea Colombiana with s/n 612.

    1974

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Fuerza Aerea Colombiana.

    To Giovanni Bord.
    It took Mr. Bord, a Colombian pilot and adventurer, 17 years to acquire FAC 612 and 619.

    Restored.
    Used spare parts from FAC619.

    Assigned civil registration: HK-2115

    Operated by Tala.

    Assigned civil registration: HK-2115P
    In the old Colombian aviation registration system the P indicated a privately operated aircraft.

    2003

    Giovanni Bord died in a plane crash in 2003 and since then the Catalina was flown only sparingly. For a few years, engine-runs were performed for maintenance, but after a while, disuse and lack of money made it a much less frequent event.
