    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 48-0614.

    Flew the route bewtween Westover AFB to Rhein-Main and back in support of the Berlin Airlift.

    1950

    Converted to a VC-121A.

    From June 1951 to March 1952

    Markings Applied: Columbine, UNITED STATES AIR FORCE
    Used as the personal aircraft of General Eisenhower, SHAPE Commander. Based at Paris-Orly airport.

    Circa 1960

    Transferred to 1254 ATW, Washington National Airport.

    1962

    Transferred to USAF Europe.
    Transferred as a VIP transport.

    Used by General Greunther of NATO.

    Transferred to 7101st Air Base Wing, Wiesbaden.

    January 1967

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Air Force.

    June 1967

    Assigned to Davis Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ for storage.

    19 June 1967

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number CK036.

    1968

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
