The accident occurred at Nashville Metropolitan Airport, TN (BNA) (United States of America) while landing. Narrative: The DC-7 landed in foggy and rainy weather conditions. Due to overcontrolling of reverse thrust the nose landing gear collapsed. The aircraft sustained irreparable damage. Incident occurred at the Berry Airport, Nashville, TN. Ground looped or water swerved on touch down. The gear collapsed during the landing rollout. The factors included; low ceiling, rain and overload failure. The sky conditions were broken. The ceiling was 400 feet at the accident site. The visibility was 2 miles or less. The precipitaion was rain...
