    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 62-4446.

    To 23rd TFW, McConnell AFB, KS.

    By March 1965

    Transferred to 561st TFS, 23rd TFW, McConnell AFB, KS.

    From 1 March 1965 to 27 May 1965

    Deployed to 6441st TFW, Yokota AB, Japan. This was under Operation One Buck Nine.

    15 July 1965

    Transferred to 4520th CCTW, Nellis AFB, NV.

    Transferred to 4525th FWW, Nellis AFB, NV.

    2 January 1967

    Transferred to 13th TFS, 388th TFW, Korat RTAFB, Thailand.

    January 1967

    Configured as a Ryans Raiders Aircraft (Commando Nail) with modified ASG-19 radar. Radar modifications were performed by the 388th Avionics Maintenance Squadron at Korat.

    Cowboy with two holsters on fuselage side below wing.

    From 31 July 1967 to August 1967

    Damaged.
    Damaged during a combat mission. During repairs, the Commando Nail package was removed. The repairs required major structural repair in the bomb bay.

    Transferred to 44th TFS, 388th TFW, Takhli RTAFB, Thailand.

    February 1969

    Flew on more than 15 Iron Hand missions to the Steel Tiger region of Laos.

    By June 1969

    Transferred to 44th TFS, 355th TFW, Takhli RTAFB, Thailand.

    Deployed to Karup AB, Denmark, under CORONET SPARROW.

    Transferred to 128th TFS, 116th TFG, Georgia ANG, Dobbins ARB, GA.

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number FK0088.
