    Rebuilt using parts from other abandoned aircraft nearby. The tailplane, tailwheel and canopy were replaced. The hole in the propeller blade was plugged.

    Crashed.
    On the last flight which was at Duxford, the 109 crash landed in a field with the gear down and flipped over coming to rest upside down. The rear fuselage was buckled, the fin and rudder were crushed and there was addition damage to the propeller, spinner and one wing tip.

    Stored dismantled.

    Recovered.
    Recovered from the crash site.

    Contracted to Imperial War Museum, Duxford for work on the airframe.
