    Notes: Douglas DC-3 (N165LG) (43-1973) - The New England Air Museums DC-3 towers above a host of other Golden Age jewels in this general view. The large Douglas was built as a USAAF C-49J during the War but served with numerous airlines afterward.

    Restoration started.
    The aircraft is being restored to represent the first commercial airliner (Eastern Airlines) to land at Bradley Field in 1947.
