    Transferred to 384th Air Refueling Squadron (Medium) (Strategic Air Command), Westover AFB, MA.

    16 May 1965

    Converted to a KC-97L.

    6 August 1976

    New serial number assigned:

    September 1980

    Ferry flight.
    To Beale AFB Museum.

    8 October 1980

    Notes: 53-0230 Boeing KC-97L USAF. ex-Tennessee ANG and storage at MASDC, this KC-97 was flown to Beale in September 1980 to join a small collection of preserved aircraft. The Beale museum has since been closed, and 30230 is now preserved at Dover AFB, Delaware
