    Ferry flight.
    Flown non-stop to Wideawake Airfield on Ascension Island 4,600 miles away using ferry tanks and air-to-air refuelling.

    From 6 May 1982 to Circa 18 May 1982

    Transported by ship.
    Shipped on the container ship Atlantic Conveyor to the Total Exclusion Zone (TEZ).

    18 May 1982

    Transferred to No. 1 Squadron, HMS Hermes, TEZ.
    Transferred to the Hermes.

    Flown in various operations involving taking the Falkland Islands.

    Argentine forces surrendered.
