    Circa 1941

    Constructed as an A-34.

    Circa 1942

    The USAAF ordered 450 Brewster Model B.340E as A-34 for supplying to the RAF. No USAAF s/n allotted and the USAAF did not take any on strength.

    Circa 1942

    Ferry flight. Delivered to William Northern Field, TN.

    Circa 1942

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n FF860 as a Bermuda 1.

    Crashed.
    A take-off accident left the airframe in a swamp near the runway.

    Found by Mr. Tallichet, recovered and added to his collection.

    To Naval Air Development Center (NADC) Warminster, PA.
    The NADC in part occupied the former buildings of the Brewster Aeronautical Corporation.

    1978

    Restoration started.
    The work was carried out by 60 former Brewster employees.

    Notes: FF860 - Bermuda I - ex-Royal Air Force - Barstow-Daggett Field / Military Aircraft Restoration Corp - 23-Oct-78.Used by the RAF for training at William Northern Field in Tennesee where the aircraft crashed into a swamp on take-off. Recovered and restored by 60 former Brewster employees at MARC
