    From 1955 to 1959

    Served aboard the U.S.S. Wasp (CV-18), the U.S.S. Hornet (CV-12) and the U.S.S. Shangri La (CV-38) between shore assignments.

    29 December 1959

    Assigned to NAS Litchfield Park, AZ for storage.

    November 1962

    Redesignated as EA-1E.

    March 1963

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Navy.

    Circa 1966

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 135188.
    Re-activated for the Vietnam War.

    Transferred to Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 33 (VAW-33), NAS Quonset Point, RI.

    Deployed aboard U.S.S. Intrepid and U.S.S. Wasp.

    Redesignated as A-1E.
    While on the Wasp the aircraft was overhauled again when its radome was removed and the airframe modified it was redesignated A-1E.

    Transferred to Attack Squadron 122 (VA-122), NAS Lemoore, CA.
    Deployed aboard U.S.S. Kittyhawk.

    Transferred to Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 11 (VAW-11), NAS North Island, San Diego, CA.

    By 1968

    Transferred to Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 33 (VAQ-33), NAS Quonset Point, RI.
    Used as utility and training aircraft.

    February 1970

    Assigned to MASDC, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ for storage.
