    Constructed as a B-52G-125-BW by Boeing at Wichita, Kansas, USA.

    Circa 1959

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 59-2579.

    From By 1984 to After 1987

    Transferred to Grand Forks AFB, ND.
    Operated with markings: Boodrow
    Brian Crawford comments (2016): I was a crew chief on this bird with SSgt robbin Rhodes from 1984-1987.

    By June 1990

    Transferred to 379th Bombardment Wing, Wurtsmith AFB, MI.

    24 February 1991

    Transferred to 806th Bomb Wing (Provisional), RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire.
    Conducted bombing operations against Iraq during Operation Desert Storm.

    9 March 1991

    Transferred to Wurtsmith AFB, MI.

    12 November 1991

    Transferred to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARC) with inventory number BC395.

    28 August 2000

    Scrapped.

    Notes: Not many B-52s were in the private yards surrounding D-M AFB, but this one was the exception, lingering on in a corner of ARM/ DMI. Its B-52G 59-2579. The centre section shown here was scrapped, butits nose lives on in Scroggins, Nevada.
