    31 December 1940

    To Polaris Flight Academy, Glendale, CA keeping c/r NC17630.
    Polaris was a flight training facility operated for the British Government prior to the United States involvement in WW-II.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n KD102.
    Purchased by the United Kingdom Government for use by the RAF.

    24 December 1942

    Transferred to RAF Ferry Command, Montreal, Canada.

    4 October 1945

    Returned to the USA and demilitarized for civilian use.

    28 February 1946

    To Texaco with new c/r N17630.

    3 November 1950

    To Spartan Aircraft Company keeping c/r N17630.

    Restored.
    Completely overhauled and upgraded by Spartan Aero Services.

    21 November 1952

    To Texaco keeping c/r N17630.

    18 January 1956

    Certificate of airworthiness for N17634 (7W, 17) issued.

    30 March 1957

    To Malcolm Jacobs, Saint. Louis, MO with new c/r N1MJ.

    14 April 1989

    To Lone Star Flight Museum, Houston, TX keeping c/r N1MJ.

    Operated by Lone Star Flight Museum, Scholes Field, Galveston, TX.
