    Crashed.
    Summary: The damage to the airframe was substantial. There were 21,046 hours on the airframe at the time. The domestic scheduled passenger flight departed Barrancominas Airport (NBB), Colombia and was destined for Villavicencio Airport (VVC/SKVV), Colombia. The accident occurred at Puerto Gaitan (Colombia) while en route. The airframe was repaired. Narrative: The DC-3 departed Barrancominas (NBB) on a domestic flight to Villavicencio (VVC). En route near Rio Manacacias at an altitude of 10. 500 feet the aircraft experienced engine vibrations...

    Notes: An Arall Aerolineas Llaneras Douglas DC-3, registration, HK-2663 performing a flight from Puerto Gaitan to Villavicencio (Colombia) with 3 crew, was climbing out of Puerto Gaitan when the left hand engine (R-1830) failed. The aircraft lost height, the crew attempted an emergency landing outside the aerodrome. The aircraft burst into flames and was evacuated. Two crew received injuries and were taken to hospitals.

    Crashed.
    The airframe was destroyed. The flight departed Puerto Gaitan Airport (SKPG), Colombia and was destined for Villavicencio Airport (VVC/SKVV), Colombia. This was a ferrying/positioningflight. The accident occurred at 2,6 km (1. 6 mls) SW of Puerto Gaitan Airport (Colombia) while en route. A Douglas DC-3, operated by Arall Colombia, was destroyed by fire following a forced landing near Puerto Gaitan, Colombia. The three occupants were injured. The aircraft took off from runway 04 at Puerto Gaitan Airport about 06:22 hours local time...
