    Transferred to 1501st Air Transport Wing (Military Air Transport Service), Travis AFB, CA.

    Converted to a WC-135B.

    1965

    Transferred to 56th Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, 9th Weather Reconnaissance Wing, Yokota AB, Japan.

    1970

    Crashed.
    Crashed on runway at Yokota AB. The cause was the jamming of an elevator trim motor.

    Repaired.

    1 March 1973

    Converted to a C-135B-BN by Boeing at Renton, WA, USA.

    1974

    Converted to a C-135C.
    Converted to staff executive transport.

    1974

    Transferred to 15th Air Base Wing, Hickam AFB, HI.

    1974

    Transferred to Detatchment 1, 89th Military Airlift Wing, Hickam AFB, HI.

    1991

    Transferred to Tinker AFB, OK.
    Undergoing Programmed Depot Maintenance. Corrosion too great to repair.

    October 1991

    Withdrawn from use.

    30 October 1991

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
