    Involved in an incident.
    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number FSO68AE210: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 13:30 hours. The damage was substantial. Incident occurred at the Idris Airport, Tripoli, Libya. The flight departed from Ras Lanuf, Libya, with the destination Tripoli, Libya. The gear retracted while taxiing from landing. Report remarks include: Investigation under jurisdiction of the Government of Libya.

    Notes: Beech C-45H N495F in a sorry state in MIACOs boneyard at Hal Far, 28 December 1977. Flew in LAVCO and Zapata titles until its retirement in 1972. It was then moved to a Bugia scrapyard, then back to Hal Far for the Fire School until finally rescued by the Malta Aviation Museum and transported to the former airfield at Ta Qali where it still resides awaiting restoration.

    Stored, intact, in Kasparels Scrapyard, Birzebbuga, Malta.

    17 June 1981

    Civil registration, N495F, cancelled.

    From 1991 to 1996

    International Fire and Safety School, Malta: on fire drill ground, Malta-Hal Far.

    Based at Malta Aviation Museum, Ta Qali, Malta.
