    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 91159.

    From 1959 to 1974

    To Johnson Flying Service 8NC, Missoula, MT with c/r N3249G.

    Operated as fire service #A14.

    Purchased for $26,820.

    6 February 1975

    Civil registration, N3249G, cancelled.
    Exported to Canada.

    Operated as fire service #A14.

    21 June 1978

    Crashed.
    Piloted by John Inman experienced engine failure and crashed near Forty-four Mile Brook north of the Nepisiguit River (northern Northumberland County and southeast of Caribou Depot). The pilot was unhurt and was later picked up by the rescue unit and flown to Sevogle airstrip.

    To Atlantic Canada Aviation Museum.
    Purchased for the sum $1.00.
