    14 July 1985

    Crashed.
    There was one minor injury. The accident occurred at the Ames Municipal Airport (AMW) Ames, IA, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. The owner had given the pilot permission to fly the aircraft the pilot elected to take a passenger in the front seat. After the accident, the pilot stated that he was making a high speed taxi run on the grass on the right side of the runway...
