    Constructed as a HUP-2.

    From 1952 to 28 March 1963

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 128484.

    By 1994

    Noted at Bobs Air Park, South Wilmot Road, Tucson (AZ)in 1994 these Piasecki HUP-2 Retrievers are relics of the very early days of helicopter operations. The HUP-2 entered service in 1952 and had wooden rotor blades and a fabric covered rear pylon. They were retired in 1964. Bu128484 went to the Pima Air and Space Museum when this scrapyard closed in 2000.
