    Circa 1943

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 43-28204.

    Redesignated as TB-25J.

    Converted to a TB-25M.

    1958

    Davis Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ Withdrawn from use and placed in open storage here.

    From 18 September 1958 to 1961

    To Blue Mountain Air Service, La Grande, OR with new c/r N9856C.

    May 1959

    Converted to an air tanker with the installation of a 1,000 gallon tank.

    From March 1961 to 1962

    To Idaho Aircraft Inc, Boise, ID keeping c/r N9856C.
    Served as a tanker.

    From May 1962 to 1968

    To Dennis G. Smilanich, Boise, ID keeping c/r N9856C.
    Served as a tanker.

    From September 1968 to 1972

    To Filmways Inc, Hollywood, CA keeping c/r N9856C.

    Restored.
    Returned to military configuration.

    Moved to Guaymas Mexico for filming of the movie movie Catch 22. EVENT[TRANER].

    January 1969

    Filming of flying scenes commenced.

    April 1971

    To Tallmantz Aviation, Orange County, CA keeping c/r N9856C.
