    Constructed as a Spitfire LF.IX by Vickers-Armstrong at Castle Bromwich.

    April 1944

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n ML295.

    Transferred to No. 411 (Grizzly Bear) Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

    30 July 1944

    Involved in an incident.
    At 10.30am, after having successfully attacking the convoy of German trucks over Northern France, Pilot, Kramer radioed to his wing-men to say that his engine had packed up, likely due to being hit by anti-aircraft fire. The unpowered aircraft hit ground near the town of Lisieux.

    1989

    Recovered.
    Wreck recovered Jeann-Pierre Bernamou and restoration started.
