    Constructed as a PT-13 by Boeing.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Corps with s/n 36-0015.

    2 April 1936

    First flight.
    Initial test flight by Stearman Chief Experimental Test Pilot David Levy.

    11 April 1936

    Ferry flight.
    Flown to Wright Field by Captain Frank Klein for USAAC acceptance.

    After initially failing USAAC acceptance and being returned to the Stearman factory it was finally re-submitted and accepted.

    29 June 1936

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Corps with s/n 36-0002.

    From 29 June 1936 to November 1938

    Transferred to At Wright Field.

    November 1938

    Transferred to Army Air Corps Training School, Randolph Field, San Antonio, TX.

    23 August 1939

    Transferred to Army Air Forces Primary Flying Contract School, Curtiss-Stienurg Field, Parks College, East Saint. Louis, MS.

    Circa September 1940

    Transferred to 5th Flying Training Detachment, Ryan Hemet Field, Hemet CA.

    20 June 1941

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 36-0002.

    By 24 December 1941

    Transferred to 1st Flying Training Detachment, Hancock Field, Santa Maria, CA.

    June 1944

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Army Air Force.

    June 1944

    Withdrawn from use.
    Ferried to 3040th AAF Base Unit at Glendale AAF, AZ - Total military flying time 3024 hours.

    From September 1944 to May 1945

    Ferry flight.
    Moved to San Berardino Air Depot, CA for continued storage.

    From 21 April 1946 to 1964

    To Cliff D. Pinard, Hawthorne, CA with new c/r N68378.
    Purchased from Sales- Storage - Depot 22 at Gary Field, Blythe, CA - Purchase price was $175 this was just one of 35 Stearman aircraft purchased by Pinard.

    Notes: This is after it was certified a civilian aircraft and was painted blue and white.

    From 1954 to 1967

    The fuselage with engine and center section was stored in a shed at Lucerne Valley CA. for many years.

    By 1965

    To Cliff Pinard, Hawthorne, CA with new c/r N146N.
    For many years the FAA insisted that this airframe was 75-014 USAAC 36-15 but CAA eventually checked that this airframe had the original Makers plate with serial 75-001.

    Restoration started.
    Serious restoration started.but Cliff Pinard died June 1970.

    6 February 1973

    To Jim Ardy/Antique Aeroplane Rental, Phoenix, AZ with new c/r N77001.

    18 April 1974

    Certificate of airworthiness for N75001 (PT-13, 75-001) issued.

    By 18 April 1974

    To Jim Ardy with new c/r N75001.
