    Constructed as a F-100D-70-NA by North American at Inglewood, California, USA.

    Circa 1956

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 56-3141.

    1956

    Transferred to 386th FBS, Clovis/Cannon AFB, NM.

    Transferred to Michigan Air National Guard.

    Operated for two tours in Vietnam.

    15 March 1979

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number 56-3141.
    Allocated inventory number FE479.

    29 May 1987

    To Flight Systems, Mojave, CA.

    From Circa 1987 to Circa 1988

    Converted to a QF-100.

    Damaged.
    Made its last flight from Holloman AFB, NM, where it sustained damage over White Sands Missile Range by an AIM-120 missile fired from an F-15. It then made a forced landing at the former Northop Strip which is now known as White Sands Space Harbor. The nose was bend upwards, likely due to some kind of nose gear failure. The tail section was heavily damaged from the missile strike.

    To unknown owner.
    Came into the possession of a private collector at the Evergreen facility at Marana, AZ.

    Only the damaged upper skin of the nose was repaired. It was decided to leave the damaged tail section unrepaired.
